As some of our legacy clients are aware, LeadsRush is an offshoot of a marketing company by the name of MKTNG. MKTNG was formed in February of 2015, but was born 12 months earlier by me, Scott Eggert.
Beginning in 2009, after working in marketing and business development for my own cabinetry company, I began offering freelance marketing services. I became a quick hand at developing social media strategies. I began blogging in 2005 as a result of doing Katrina relief work. After leading a team to replace blue roofs and assess ongoing needs, I helped to facilitate a dozen groups offering varying levels of relief work over the course of three years. Each was accompanied with a blog to document their work.
MKTNG was an outgrowth of nearly a decade of working with marketing agencies on social media and marketing strategies for large regional and national brands. Similarly, MKTNG has worked with regional and national brands on events, branding, social media and marketing automation deployments. Our clients have included financial institutions, home builders and real estate organizations.
In 2020 we began working with some real estate and mortgage clients and noticed they were experiencing some common pain points that we could help alleviate:
- A desire to attract more leads in a competitive marketplace
- relief managing leads in the presale stage
- Invest in marketing that generated measurable results
- Assistance with managing a variety of marketing tools
- Help to develop a personal brand that stood apart from peers, some from within the same brokerages
- Marketing strategy, and all the above at a cost that was affordable
We set ourselves to solving these problems. What resulted was growth and referrals. As we witnessed the fruits of our labors, we sought ways in which we could bundle these services in a way in which we could offer affordability and scale to our current and future clients. That is when we formulated the outline of what would become LeadsRush, which we are launching today, February 2nd.
We think we have some pretty good answers to the problems that plague brokers. However, we also know that we don’t have ALL the answers. That our business will evolve and take a different shape as we adapt ourselves to the changes in these markets. We know that LeadsRush will look different in even a year, and definitely in five or ten years.
Real estate and mortgage brokers are incredibly brave entrepreneurs. Most of them work entirely on a commissions basis. Everything is at risk if for whatever reason a transaction does not come to fruition. They do this at a time when the American consumer could not be more fickle, or have more options available. The marketplace is extremely competitive, and getting mores o. In the past couple of years, behemoth Zillow has entered the real estate market as a buyer and reseller of homes, cutting out realtors altogether. Retail lenders and online brokers are also nibbling around the edges of the profits of mortgage loan officers.
Currently, most consumers can see and appreciate the personal touch and layer of service that comes from working with a broker. They see the value in representation, and being guided throughout the process of choosing.
LeadsRush is here to partner with these brave entrepreneurs. To help them to stand out in a market flooded with competition. To automate tedious and cumbersome aspects of marketing and nurturing new business, and to craft a brand for themselves that is durable, no matter where they take their business. Most importantly, however, we are helping them to Get and Close Leads, because if you’re not closing new business, you’re going out of business.
